Man Resists Arrest As Frederick Police Officer Tries To Take Him Into Custody

Authorities say he was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man faces charges of disorderly conduct, littering, trespassing and resisting arrest following an incident on Tuesday.

Frederick Police say Officer Lawson, who was working in the 100 block of South Market Street, saw a man trespass on a property which had several “no-trespassing” signs in plain view. . The cop also saw the same man throw a beer bottle into the street.

Officer Lawson tried to place the man later identified as Charles Eugene Brown, 32, under arrest. But police say Brown resisted and became disorderly because he was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

He was eventually placed under arrest.
