It’s expected to be completed within four days.

Frederick, Md. (KM) A system preservation project will begin on Tuesday in Frederick County.

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says crews will be crack sealing along Md.  550 (Woodsboro Pike) between Mill Street and Parsons Vale from 8:00 AM  and 5:00 PM  over the next few days. The project is expected to take four days to complete weather permitting.

The contractor for this project, Remac, will set  up a flagging operation to include signs, cones and barrels to guide motorists through the work zone. There will also be a truck-mounted   attenuator within the work zone to protect crews and motorists.
