The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Central Frederick County in north central Maryland...

* Until 615 PM EDT Thursday.

* At 1211 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that 1 to 3 inches of rain
  has fallen across the warned area. However, heavier amounts of
  rain around 3 to 5 inches fell in nearby areas that drain into the
  Monocacy River. Therefore, the water levels continue to rise along
  the Monocacy.
