Robbery Of Germantown Pharmacy Under Investigation

Montgomery County Police have arrested one suspect, searching for the second.

Germantown, Md (KM) Montgomery County Police continue to investigate a robbery at a pharmacy in Germantown on September 2nd, 2021. .

At around 10:00 AM, officers responded to the store in the 19000 block of Frederick Road. Detectives say two men entered the store; one jumped the counter, and obtained prescription medications before fleeing, leaving one sneaker behind. The second suspect identified as Ralph Christopher May, 22, of Clarksburg was detained at the scene by employees. May was arrested.

Investigators say May made statements during questioning where he acknowledged his involvement in the robbery.

Police are searching for the other suspect. He’s a 20-year-old African-American man, between 5-feet-10 and 6-feet tall.
