Shooting In Hagerstown Kills One Man, Seriously Injures Another

27-year-old man shot dead in Hagerstown on Saturday.

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – A shooting Saturday evening in Hagerstown leaves one man dead and another with life-threatening injuries.

Hagerstown Police respond to the shooting in the 200 and 300 blocks of N. Mulberry St. and found two victims. Both men were taken to Meritus Medical Center.

Police report 27 year old John Anthony Leonard the 4th from Hagerstown died from his injuries. The second victim, a 22-year-old man from Hagerstown, was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with life threatening injuries.

Hagerstown Police say this is an active and ongoing investigation. Anybody with information on the shooting, including home surveillance footage of the area, is asked to contact authorities.
