Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man was injured early Tuesday morning following a hit and run.
The Sheriff’s Office says at around 5:10 AM, deputies responded for a pedestrian struck along Gas House Pike near Linganore Road. Thomas Dondero, Jr. 28, was hit by an unknown vehicle, and found lying on the side of the road by a passerby.
The Maryland State Police helicopter transported Dondero to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office says it’s attempting to identify the striking vehicle. It will probably have front passenger side damage and a missing passenger side window. There’s no description of the driver.
Anyone who has information on the vehicle or the driver is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office. They can call Deputy Reggio with the Traffic Unit at 301-600-7120.
