Frederick Police Make Arrest In Burglary

The suspect broke into a business on East Church Street.

Frederick, Md (KM) A suspect has been arrested for a burglary in downtown Frederick. . Police say Jason Michael Taylor, 37. who has no fixed address, has been charged through a criminal summons with 2nd-degree burglary, theft less than $100 and malicious destruction of property.

Authorities on Tuesday at around 10:20 AM responded to a business along East Church Street to investigate reports of a commercial burglary and destruction of property.

Officers were able to identity Taylor as the suspect. They worked to locate him, making contact with Taylor on Wednesday. Police made application for and received the criminal summons on Friday. .
