Frederick Police Responds To Shots-Fired Incident

Some homes were damaged by gunfire.

Frederick, Md (KM) A shots-fired incident is under investigation by Frederick Police

On Wednesday at around 9:00 PM, officers responded to the 800 and 900 blocks of Heather Ridge Drive after receiving several reports of gunshots in the area. Authorities says they found evidence of gunfire, including several homes which had been struck by bullets.

Residents told police they saw a group of about five or six men who fled the scene after shots were fired. They could have been involved, residents told  officers.
