Hagerstown, Md (KM) A truck driver from Queens, New York was killed in a tractor trailer crash in Washington County early Friday morning.
Maryland State Police say Mr. Simrat was operating his big rig along northbound Interstate 81 in the Williamsport area when tractor and the trailer went off the road, and overturned. Troopers say Simrat was not restrained, and was ejected from his vehicle.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
State Police say that section of I-81 was closed for a period of time while troopers conducted their investigation.
