Authorities are searching for a suspect, or suspects.
Gaithersburg, Md. (KIM) – Montgomery County Police have identified the victim of a stabbing at the Lakeforest Mall on Monday. He’s Jose Alexander Maldonado, 23, of Gaithersburg, who was an employee of the T-Mobile store at the Mall.
At around 11:00 AM on Monday, Feb. 21st, officers responded to the Lakeforest Mall for an assault which occurred in the food court. Officers found Maldonado suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Maldonado died from his injuries.
The investigation is continuing into this incident, and anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact Montgomery County Police. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect or suspects. Callers can remain anonymous.
