Baby Zori was located in Washington DC Wed. morning.
Hagerstown, Md. (KM) – There’s a happy ending to a missing baby story from Washington County. Hagerstown Police say two-month-old Baby Zori was located safe and sound in Washington DC on Wednesday morning.
Tianna Mona Dawkins was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant in connection with this investigation. Authorities say Dawkins took Baby Zori from his mother’s home in Hagerstown on Tuesday, and fled to Washington DC. Dawkins and the child’s mother were acquainted with each other.
Baby Zori is in the custody fo Child Protective Services.
Hagerstown Police say the baby was located with the assistance of the FBI, the Metropolitan Washington Police Department and the Maryland State Police.
Local authorities say they are consulting with the Washington County State’s Attorney’s Office on any appropriate charges.
