Frederick, Md. (NS) – Fire destroys home early Monday morning in Frederick.
At around 3:45 a.m., firefighters from all over Frederick County were sent to the 5600 block of Mountain Laurel Drive for a single house with heavy fire showing.
A rapid intervention dispatch and a tanker task force was requested as no fire hydrants were in the area.
Sixty firefighters spent 90 minutes extinguishing the flames.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
