Three Charged With Breaking Into An Elderly Woman’s Home In Hagerstown, Stealing Her Cash

She was left unconscious with injuries.

Hagerstown, Md. (KM) – Three people have been charged in connection with a home invasion robbery in Hagerstown on March 7th where an elderly woman suffered injuries to her head, neck and face.

Police say Angel Marie Parker, Jacob Benjamin Kitch-Nordsick and Taylor Paul Alexander broke into the 95-year-old woman’s  home on Marshall Street, and stole her money. She was knocked unconscious and strangled, and was left lying on the floor.

But when she came to, she was able to contact authorities with her home health alert bracelet. The victim was treated and leased.

Authorities say Parker assisted in the victim’s home and learned that she kept a large sum of cash., and allegedly coordinated the break-in with Kitch-Nordsick and Alexander.

Jacob Benjamin Kitch-Nordsick, age 23 with No Fixed Address:

  • Attempted 1st and 2nd Murder
  • Home Invasion
  • Strong Armed Robbery
  • 1st and 2nd Degree Assault
  • 3rd and 4th Degree Burglary
  • Theft

Taylor Paul Alexander, age 23 with No Fixed Address:

  • Home Invasion
  • 1st and 2nd Degree Assault
  • 1st and 4th Degree Burglary
  • Robbery
  • Theft

“We are extremely grateful that this brave woman was not more seriously injured or killed. HPD would like to acknowledge responding officers, EMT’s that provided initial treatment and the swift work of HPD detectives,” says the Hagerstown Police Department in a statement. .”All three subjects have been arrested and are held without bond. This remains an open investigation to ensure no other parties were involved or if other charges are appropriate.”
