Items must be at the curb by 6 am.
New Market, Md. (NS) – Yard waste pickup in New Market will resume on April 6.
Accepted items include:
- Yard trimmings
- Grass clippings
- Hedge clippings
- Bundles of branches, leaves and brush cut to 3 feet in length and no more than 3 inches in diameter and tied in bundles
Unacceptable items include:
- Hazardous materials
- Root balls
- Dirt
- Sod
- Rocks
- Brush and branches larger than 3 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter and/or not tied in bundles
Eligible items must be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. in biodegradable paper bags.
