A flagging operation will be in place during work hours overnight.
Point of Rocks, Md. (NS) – A portion of Route 15 in Point of Rocks will be resurfaced beginning Sunday, April 3.
Maryland SHA says crews will work between Basford Road and the Maryland/Virginia state line before the Potomac River Bridge to improve the driving surface and enhance safety on the road.
Work will be done Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 7 pm to 5 am.
The project, which is expected to be completed in May, will remove the top layer of the roadway, patch potholes, and add new asphalt along three miles of Route 15.
While work is underway, one lane will be closed and a flagging operation will be in place.
