The cause is under investigation.
Frederick, Md. (NS) – A farmhouse that was renovated into apartments caught fire on Monday.
At around 1:15 pm, firefighters were sent to the 4300 block of Buckeystown Pike for a basement fire.
First responders who arrived on scene found smoke showing from the home and quickly put out the blaze.
Buckeystown Pike was shut down to traffic while firefighters were on scene.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
