Eight Juveniles Charged With Shooting Pellet-like Objects At People

Their activity may be a result of a social media challenge.

Urbana, Md. (NS) – The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has seen a rise in the past few weeks in people being shot with pellet-like objects.

According to a report, one 18-year-old and six juveniles were victims in the Urbana area.

Investigators have identified eight juvenile suspects who are being charged by the Department of Juvenile Services.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds residents that social media challenges and trends can lead to illegal activity where you can be criminally charged.
