MDOT SHA says it requires a road closure & detours.
Ijamsville, Md. (KM) – A one-day drainage improvement project will take place this weekend on Route 75 (Green Valley Road) in Ijamsville.
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says beginning at 5:00 AM on Sunday, May 1st, crews will close both lanes of Route 75 at Prices Distillery Road so they can remove the damaged pipe underneath the road. It will be replaced with a new pipe. The work is expected to be completed by 5:00 PM
While the work is underway, southbound traffic will be detoured to Browningsville Road which turns into Bethesda Church Road. From there, motorists will take Clarksburg Road to Route 355 (Frederick Road) and back to Route 75.
Motorists heading northbound will be directed to stay on Route 355 (Urbana Pike) to eastbound Route 80 (Fingerboard Road) to connect with Route 75.
Local access will only be permitted for emergency vehicles.
