Officers were dispatched to Heather Ridge Drive.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – Frederick Police were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to a shots-fired incident in the 1000 block of Heather Ridge Drive. .
Authorities say there was a discharge of firearms, and there was a car in the area of Taney Avenue which was involved. Nearby schools were placed on a brief lockdown, but have since reopened.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
