No One Reported Injured In Shots-Fired Incident In Frederick On Tuesday

Police continue their investigation.

Frederick, Md. (KM) – The investigation continues into a shots-fired incident in Frederick.

On Tuesday afternoon at around 2:30, Frederick Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Heather Ridge  Drive for a reported discharge of a firearm. As that investigation was underway, police received 911 calls about a vehicle crash in the area of Taney Avenue and Young Place. Authorities say evidence found at the scene connect these two incidents.

As of Tuesday afternoon, police say they do not believe anyone was hurt by gunfire.

Anyone who has information which could help in this investigation is asked to contact Frederick Police. Individuals who have footage from video surveillance cameras in that area that could help are encouraged to contact authorities. .
