Taneytown, Md. (KM) – The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Taneytown man with child pornography offenses. Evan Thomas Harris Frock, 32, was taken into custody after a search and seizure warrant was served at his home Courtland Street on Monday.
The operation was conducted by the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigations Center as part of the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
Authorities say Frock is suspected of using Snapchat to send, receive and solicit explicit photographs and videos of underage girls He’s believed to have used Snapchat user names such as volleygirlhan, volleygirl1025, laxguy2323 and pictures 1025.
The Sheriff’s Office says Frock also identified himself as a high school age boy to facilitate the exchange of this explicit material. Detectives say Frock is a long term substitute and head varsity volleyball coach at Westminster High School. He’s also may be or has been associated with other schools and athletic businesses in the Baltimore region. Authorities say they are working with the Carroll County School System to identity any additional student victims who may have had inappropriate contact with Frock.
Investigators believe Frock may have contacted over 1,000 Snapchat users. The Sheriff’s Office says if you or your child may have been one of Frock’s victims, you’re askedĀ to contact the FBI at 410-265-8080, or the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigations Center at 410-386-3640.
Frock is charged with four counts of inducing a minor to produce child pornography, four counts of child pornography, two counts of knowingly soliciting child pornography and eight counts of possession of child pornography.
