These cases now move to Circuit Court for trial.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – Three indictments were returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury.
The panel charged:
- Charles Emory Diller, 60, of Frederick whose charged with 1st- and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on April 19th, 2022.
- Wayne Augustus Chase IV, 26, of Frederick whose with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and distribution of pot for an incident which occurred on July 21st, 2021.
- Joseph Gordon Ecker, 30, of Frederick who is charged with two counts of promotion, distribution and possession intent to distribute child pornography, and seven counts for possession of child pornography for incidents which occurred on June 14th, 2021, July 13th, 2021 and December 20th, 2021.
These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says an indictment is a charging document and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
