One Person Injured In Early Saturday Morning Shooting In Frederick

Police are investigating

Frederick, Md. (KM) – An investigation is underway into a shooting early Saturday morning in Frederick.

Police say at around 2:00 AM, patrol officers responded to the 400 block of North Market Street after hearing what sounded like gun shots.. Upon arriving, police found evidence that a gun had been fired.

Frederick Police say they received notice later on that one person had been taken to the hospital after begin shot, and was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to contact authorities. Those who have video footage of the scene are especially encouraged to call.
