Sharpsburg Will Hold 155th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony And Parade On Saturday

The parade will begin on Main Street at 2 p.m.

Sharpsburg, Md. (NS) – Sharpsburg’s 155th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade will be on Saturday, May 28.

The 11 a.m. ceremony will feature two speakers who are World War 2 veterans.

The parade, which features 100 entries including the Maryland Army National Guard 299th Band, will follow at 2 p.m.

A fly over by two World War 2 PT-19 Training planes from the Hagerstown Aviation Museum will begin the parade on Main Street.

Due to the events, the road will be closed from 1:45 p.m. until 4 p.m.
