Frederick, Md. (KM) – A Frederick woman was convicted Thursday in Circuit Court for having sex with a teenage boy when the youth was 13 and 14 years of age. . . The State’s Attorney’s’ Office says the jury found Evelyn Gomez Gutierrez, 44, guilty of 2nd-degree rape, and two counts of 3rd-degree sex offense.
Circuit Court Judge William Nicklas scheduled sentencing for Tuesday, July 26th, 2022.
Frederick Police charging documents say the youth had sexual relations with Gutierrez three times between 2020 and 2021, including vaginal intercourse. The charging documents also say the teenager was told by Gutierrez not to tell his mother. She and the boy’s mother were close friends.
The teenager revealed the sexual relationship to his pediatrician during an annual physical exam, according to Frederick Police charging documents. . .
