He was arrested Thursday in Hagerstown.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – A Frederick man has been charged with sex abuse of a minor. Ronald Joseph Babco, 34, is being held without bond.
Police say on May 29th they received notification of a possible sex offense involving a child. An investigation identified Babco as the suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Detectives say they spotted him on Monday in downtown Frederick. . As they attempted to arrest him, Babco fled in his vehicle. Authorities say they did not pursue him because of heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Babco was arrested on Thursday by US Marshals in a hotel room in Hagerstown. He was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing.
