Work To Improve Driving Surface On Green Valley Road In Frederick County To Begin This Week

It’s expected to last until September.

Frederick, Md (KM) A project to improve the driving surface of Route 75 (Green Valley Road) in the Green Valley area begins this week. .

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says starting on Monday, July 11th, crews will remove the top layer of roadway, and put down new asphalt. Single lane closures will take place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

The work is expected to continue into September.

The contractor, Francis O. Day Company, Inc., of Rockville, will use signs, cones, electronic arrow boards and flaggers to alert and guide motorists through the work zone.
