Police say she was walking on 270 when the accident happened
Frederick, MD (DG) – A 20-year-old woman from Prince George’s County was killed after she was hit by a vehicle on 270 northbound in Frederick County.
Maryland state police are reporting the accident happened at around 11:30 PM on 270 northbound in Hyattstown.
Their preliminary investigation determined Excel Gold left her vehicle on the right shoulder of 270 northbound after Route 109. Gold was walking in the left lane of 270 northbound when she was struck and killed by a BMW sedan.
270 northbound was shut down for three hours at the accident scene while an investigation took place.
