Frederick County COVID-19 Memorial Dedication Ceremony To Be Held On Saturday

County Executive Jan Gardner, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, and others will speak.

Frederick, Md. (NS) – A dedication ceremony for Frederick County’s COVID-19 memorial will be held on Saturday, July 23.

At 9 a.m., at Utica District Park, County Executive Jan Gardner will host the event along with guest speakers U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, public health workers, and a local survivor.

The memorial was created to honor local residents who lost their lives to COVID-19, as well as workers who risked their safety to help the community.

It will be a public ceremony, and all are invited to attend.
