Hagerstown Man Who Had Been On The Run For Shooting Two People Arrested In Frederick

The shooting happened on Heather Ridge Drive in Frederick.

Frederick, Md. (NS) – A man from Hagerstown was arrested on Thursday after being on the run for several weeks for shooting two men in Frederick.

The Frederick Police said Officers were sent to the 1,000 Block of Heather Ridge Drive on July 5 for the report of a shooting that left 2 men injured.

Investigators labeled 42-year-old Raven Cosley of Hagerstown as the suspect.

At around 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, Frederick Police and the US Marshals Capital Region Fugitive Task Force took Cosley into custody without incident.

He has been charged with 2 counts of first degree assault, 2 counts of reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a violent crime, and illegal possession of a handgun.

In a bond hearing on Friday, District Court Judge Earl Bartgis, Jr. ordered Cosley held without bond.
