Frederick, Md. (KM) – The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says the jury selection process is scheduled to resume on Wednesday in the trial of Jason Michael Colley, 42.
The Monrovia man is charged with 1st-degree child abuse resulting in death, 1st-degree child abuse resulting in serious injury, and 1st-degree assault, . and other offenses. The charges stem from the death of Colley’s six-month-old daughter in September, 2017.
Prosecutors say the girl sustained blunt force trauma. Colley attorneys say their client is innocent.
