Police Investigate Deadly Stabbing In Hagerstown

Officers responded to an initial call for a fight between a father and son

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Hagerstown Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that began as a fight between a father and son.

On Saturday evening around 8 PM officers responded to the area of 121 E. Washington Street for two people who had been stabbed. One person was stabbed in the chest, and the other had lacerations to the hands.

The person with the stab wounds to the chest was taken to Meritus Medical Center and later died from their injuries.

Police arrested Thomas Dorsey and charged him with first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
