Dog Dies In House Trailer Fire In Washington County

The cause is under investigation.

Boonsboro, Md (KM) One dog died in a house trailer fire in Washington County Sunday night.

The Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office says at around 6:50 PM, fire fighters responded to the 7833 Sharpsburg Pike in Boonsboro for the trailer on fire. It took 65 fire fighters ten-minutes to bring the flames under control. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $20,000 to the structure, and $10,000 to the contents. .

The Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire originated in the front porch area. The cause remains under investigation.

The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
