Democrat Brad Young takes lead over Republican Phil Dacey
Frederick, Md. (DG) – After the counting of mail-in ballots were completed on Friday, Democrat Brad Young is now the top vote getter in the Frederick County Council At-Large race.
Young has received 44,402 votes, and is ahead of Republican Phil Dacey who has 43,344 votes.
Republican Tony Chmelik is now in the third with 43,032 votes, and Democrat Renee Knapp has 40,823 votes.
In the Frederick County Executive Race, Republican Michael Hough still leads Democrat Jessica Fitzwater. Hough has received 48,427 votes, while Fitzwater received 43, 392 votes as of Friday.
