The Sheriff’s Office says at around 2:30 PM, it received a call from a citizen about a man threatening to kill himself or others. The caller said May was under the influence of methamphetamine and had a loaded handgun in his possession.

Deputies initiated a ping on May’s phone, and he was found to be in the parking lot of the Law Enforcement Center. The Sheriff’s Office and State Troopers communicated with May who refused to get out of his pickup truck. After further discussions, May got out and was arrested. He was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he’s being held without bond.
