Stricter Enforcement On Loud Exhaust Systems In Maryland To Be Debated in Annapolis

Bill would make modified exhaust systems a primary traffic offense.

Annapolis, MD (MO) State Senator Paul Corderman is sponsoring a bill that enables stricter enforcement measures on Modified Exhaust Systems and Noise Abatement Devices in Maryland.

“It is really focused about the folks that have those kind of modified systems that are using them in a manner that is disruptive I think to what… to what a general consensus of people… of people would be unnecessary” said Corderman

He added that the proposed legislation is just an additional tool for law enforcement to deal with motorists who own vehicles with these types of modifications to them.
