Two Teenagers Arrested For Vandalism

They’re accused of damaging homes and vehicles in the Ballenger Creek area.

Frederick, Md (KM) Two juveniles were arrested for vandalism in Frederick County Tuesday night. “At abouit 9:45, we got called out to the Ballenger Creek area to the communities of the Edenton Retirement Community, the Mountain Village Apartments and the Farmbrook Community for some vehilce damage, to include some vehicle damage and damage to apartment windows and doors,” says Sheriff’s Office spokesman Todd Wivell.

After the Sheriff’s Office posted the information about the vandalism on social media,  deputies received a tip, and were able to take two suspects into custody.

“They were taking brick pavers, like brick pavers, and throwing them through some doors,” Wivell says. “We don’t know for sure how they busted out the windows of the vehicles. We have them on some video. We can clearly identify them.”

Because they are juveniles, the Sheriff’s Office says the suspects’ names will not be released.
