Not everything is as it at first appears. Just because a religious retreat advertises itself as “Christian” does not automatically mean the event (or the organization behind it) are faithful to the Bible. Wisdom and discernment is necessary to avoid being pulled into practices belonging to a cult rather than belonging to the church.
