The boy was bite by the dog Tuesday
Brunswick, MD (DG) – A young child in Frederick County was killed by a dog Tuesday evening.
At around 5:15 PM Brunswick Police and Frederick County’s Division of Fire and Rescue Services received a call for a child in cardiac arrest in the 400 block of West B Street in Brunswick.
When police arrived they found a two year old boy suffering from life-threatening injuries sustained from a dog.
While treating the child life-threatening injuries, he went into cardiac arrest. The boy was flown by Maryland State Police’s Trooper 3 to Frederick Health Hospital where medical personnel pronounced him dead shortly after he arrived.
The boy and his family are from Fauquier County, Virginia.
The dog has been quarantined at Frederick County’s Division of Animal Control. The investigation continues.
