MDOT SHA says crews will be doing some pavement improvement.
New Market, Md (KM) The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is scheduled to do some overnight work on parts of Md. 75 (Green Valley Road) near New Market beginning next week, and that includes the approaches to the bridge over Interstate 70. .
The project is taking place between Baldwin Road and Old National Pike ( Md. 144) and will involve pavement improvements such as repairing depressions and cracks.
The work will take place overnight from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM beginning on Monday, April 10th..
Some areas of Md. 75 will be closed during that time, including the exit ramps from eastbound I-70 to Route 75. Traffic on eastbound I-70 will be detoured to the Md. 27 (Ridge Road) exit, then to westbound I-70 to Md. 75. When the southbound lane work at Md. 75 is completed, motorists will be detoured to the northbound lane.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of April, weather permitting, MDOT SHA says.
