Westminster, Md (KM) Damage is estimated at $275,000 from a house fire in Westminster Wednesday morning.
At around 8:37 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 500 block of Old Westminster Pike for a two-story, wood frame home on fire. They spend one hour bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire originated on an exterior porch, but the cause remains under investigation. It was discovered by a passerbyu.
The occupants of the home were displaced, and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
