Va. Man Arrested In Frederick County, Md. Following Traffic Stop

Authorities found drugs, money in his vehicle.

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Winchester, Virginia man following a traffic stop last week.

Joshua Brown, 28, was pulled over in the area of Route 340 and Lander Road on Thursday. Deputies say Brown was driving on a suspended license and had two active warrants.

His vehicle was searched, and authorities found crack cocaine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and $2,000 dollars in cash. Brown was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of fentanyl, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl wiith intent to distribute, driving without a required license and authorization, driving on a suspended and  out-of-state license… He’s being held without bond.

The Sheriff’s Office says during the past weekend, deputies answered nearly 850 calls for service, and made 20 arrests.
