Maryland State Police are investigating.
Westminster, Md (KM) A Sliver Spring man was medivaced to Shock Trauma Tuesday morning following an industrial accident in Westminster.
State Police say a preliminary investigation determined that Ramon Hernandez, 69, was struck by a bucket truck which was backing into a driveway in the 1500 block of Old Taneytown Road (Md. 832). . Troopers say it appears Hernandez was working as a spotter when he was struck.
Both Hernandez and the driver of the bucket truck, Jose Cedillo of Baltimore, 52, were part of a tree trimming operation, State Police say in a news release.
No charges have been filed in this incident, and State Police say the investigation is continuing.
