Pedestrian Killed On 270 In Montgomery County

The pedestrian walked into the roadway for unknown reasons

Montgomery County, Md. (BW)- A pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles on Interstate 270 Sunday, May 21.

State Troopers responded to 270 south, before Montrose Road shortly before 8 a.m.

An investigation revealed that 40-year-old, Adam Morales Garcia from Germantown ran into the roadway from the right shoulder.

He was struck by Lincoln passenger vehicle first and then struck by a Volkswagen Sedan.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was closed for about four hours while Maryland State Police investigated the crash.
