Frederick, Md (KM) A verdict was reached on Monday in the trial of a Walkersville man. The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says Norris Bernard Ellis, 58, was found guilty of 1st-degree rape, 1st-degree assault and 2nd-degree assault.
He was arrested for raping a woman by pulling her into an alley along South Carroll Street in Frederick. The incident occurred on Sunday July fourth, 2021 during the early mornjing hours.
Ellis was arrested on July 22nd of that year in Nashville, Tennessee,. and was returned to Frederick.
His trial began last week.
