Police say the woman lost control of her motorcycle on Catoctin Furnace Road Tuesday night
Frederick, Md. (DG) – A motorcycle crash late Tuesday night in Frederick County killed a woman from Union Bridge, Maryland.
Maryland State Police responded to Catoctin Furnace Road north of Route 15 on July 4th shortly after 9 PM for a reported personal injury accident involving a motorcycle.
Troopers report the driver of a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on Catoctin Furnace Road and failed to negotiate a curve. The driver lost control of the motorcycle, traveled off the roadway and into a wooded area. The driver, 52-year-old Kristen Gray, was ejected from the motorcycle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the accident continues.
