This is the second ‘Giveback Day’ put on by The Great Giveback.
Frederick, Md. (BW)- A day dedicated to giving back to the Frederick community will take place at the end of the month.
‘Giveback Day’ will take place at Hill Street Park in Frederick on Sunday, July 30.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free to attend.
The event includes around 20 entrepreneurs between ages 13-21 who will provide families in need with clothes, school supplies, sports equipment and more.
There will also be live music, food, a basketball tournament, special guests and speakers.
The event is presented by The Great Giveback, a new organization focused on encouraging and empowering youth to achieve their goals. Sponsors and collaborators include Operation Encouragement, Anti-Norm, Made2Move, and more.
The purpose of the gathering is to give back to the community.
Hill Street Park is located at 100 Hill Street in Frederick.
