The Sheriff’s Office says someone brought a grenade into the building.

Frederick, Md (KM) There were no injuries reported after someone brought a grenade to the Law Enforcement Center on Tuesday.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says the front lobby of the building was closed, and there was a heavy police presence. Fire and rescue were also dispatched to the scene. .
It turned out that the grenade was hollowed out and not live.
The front lobby of the Law Enforcement Center on Airport Drive was reopened, although fingerprinting scheduled for remainder of the day was canceled.
