Brunswick, Md (KM) One woman was extricated from her car in an inland water rescue in Brunswick Thursday night..
The Frederick Scanner Facebook page says personnel were called out just before 8:15 PM to South Maple Avenue and the C&O Canal where a vehicle left the road went down an embankment and overturned in the water. Crews were able to safely rescue her. She suffered no injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.
Fire and rescue officials asked that CSX halt any train traffic in the area while rescue operations were underway.
