Frederick Man Arrested In Pennsylvania For Firearms Offenses

He is being held in Adams County Prison.

Frederick, Md. (BW)- A Frederick man was arrested and charged with firearms and other offenses after a traffic stop on Route 15 in Gettysburg on Aug 31.

A Pennsylvania State Trooper pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Northbound Route 15 approximately two miles after Route 30.

Two men were in the vehicle, 21-year-old Leo McDonald and 23-year-old Shaun Bullock of Harrisburg.

The trooper smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and noticed Bullock not wearing a seatbelt.

A search of the vehicle and the men was conducted. Two handguns were found in the vehicle. One of the guns was made of plastic parts and had no serial number. Marijuana was also found in Bullock’s pocket.

The men were arrested and charged for two felony counts of possessing a firearm when prohibited from doing so due to a prior criminal conviction. They were also charged with other firearms offenses as well as possession of marijuana, speeding, not wearing a seatbelt.

They are being held at Adams County Prison. Their bond is $75,000.
